Chocolate Truffle Brownie Bites

Imagine how much magic we all can create when taking inspiration, not stealing, someone’s work!

What I want to show today has a small and interesting story behind it. It’s kind of a tribute to one of the first photos I remember seeing some years ago (2016) om Pinterest. I was so impressed with this photo and this photo made me want to become just as good with food styling, food photography and well, cooking, It’s a photo by Marisa, Miss Marzipan, and today, almost three years later, I finally made my own version of this recipe. The basic recipe is taken from Miss Marzipan and also the look of the styling and the photo, but it’s just that I have made my own version of it. You will find the photo I am inspired by on my insta story on instagram 100kitchenstories, and my version of the recipe in this post. Again, thank you Marisa for the inspiration! ❤

Vegan, gluten free and sugar free

This recipe is vegan, gluten free and sugar free. The texture is not as an usual brownie which is baked in an oven. This is a soft, creamy and truffle-kinda-filling which is pure perfection. I love this!

THIS RECIPE IS:

  • Vegan

  • Gluten Free

  • Sugar Free

  • So chocolatey

  • Soft, creamy, rich

  • Delicious

Chocolate Truffle Brownie Bites

INGREDIENTS:

100 g dark chocolate, 80-90%

1,5 tbsp coconut oil

150 g peanut butter, walnut butter or tahini

1 tbsp cacao

2 tbsp agave syrup

HOW TO MAKE:

  • Line a rather small baking tray with baking sheet.

  • Melt your dark chocolate coconut oil in a glass bowl over hot waterbath. Stir until lump free and totally melted.

  • Add nut butter and mix thoroughly. Add cacao and syrup and mix again.

  • Pour this mixture into the lined pan and spread it out with a spatula. Garnish/ decorate with for instance coconut, powders, chopped nuts or similar.

  • Place in the freezer for approx 1-2 hours depending on the thickness, or until solid.

  • Cut in pieces before serving, and have it stored cold (in the freezer) until serving because otherwise it melts easily.
