A bowl of deliciousness for breakfast? Yes please. Today I'm keeping it simple, loading up my body with healthy energy sources of different kinds to load up for my last workout session of the week.

Why is this the best breakfast??!

In my breakfast we have various carb sources and fibers. They are in the oats, seeds and the fruits. The peanut butter gives great energy from the fat, and also protein. The vanilla hemp protein powder gives taste and protein. The milk just gives some extra flavor but also better texture to the porridge. And as a result, all of these together, we have a great combination of macros.

This is a simple but yet delicious breakfast, which is satisfying. gives your great energy and keeps you full. Because one of the worst things is getting hungry while working out right? This doesn't happen when eating this breakfast.

Creamy Protein Rich Vanilla Porridge

INGREDIENTS:

1 dl oat flour (mix rolled oats to flour)

2,5 dl vegan milk of choice

a small pinch of salt

2 tbsp vanilla hemp protein powder

HOW TO MAKE:

  • Mix your rolled oats to flour.

  • Bring to a boil in a small sauce pan with the milk. Lower the heat and stir in the salt and protein powder. If the porridge is to compact you might need to add a bit extra liquid.

  • Serve like I did, or with berries, vegan milk and optional nut butter.
