Crunchy Granola - Gluten Free, Vegan and Sugar Free
It smells like granola just got out from the oven!
It is currently smelling so nice in my kitchen. My homemade granola just go out from the oven, and I can’t wait until I can spread this over my breakfast bowl. Am I the only one who loves homemade granola? The one I want to show you today is gluten free, vegan and sugar free! It’s so much better to make your own granola that is all of this, than buying an expensive one in the store which probably have loads of weird stuff and sugar included. Homemade granola is obviously a lot cheaper to make too! Recommended!
Gluten Free and Sugar Free Crunchy Granola
one jar
INGREDIENTS:
7 dl gluten free oats
1/2 dl sesame seeds
1 dl linseeds
3 tbsp coconut oil
3+4 tbsp agave syrup (or honey)
a pinch of real vanilla powder
2 tsp cinnamon
Sea salt
pprox 1 dl (5 tbsp) walnuts or pecan nuts
Some tbsp of dried optional fruits and berries
HOW TO MAKE:
Heat oven to 200 degrees.
Place oats and linseeds on a baking pan. Spread over some cinnamon and salt.
Melt coconut oil in a small sauce pan with 3 tbsp of the agave syrup and vanilla. Stir.
Pour this over the dry mixture and mix with a big spoon. Add (at least) 3 more tbsp syrup and mix again. All the grains have to be wet/sticky before placing in the oven.
Bake in the oven until golden brown for approx 5-10'. Be cautious it doesn't get burn.
Let your granola cool before adding nuts and fruits and berries. Store in a glas jar with lid.
*NOTES:
If you’re not gluten interment, it’s perfectly fint to use ordinary or fibre oats instead.
I used agave syrup for this recipe to make it vegan, but if you’re not vegan, it’s totally fint to also use honey. Maple syrup works too.
