Gluten Free Vegan Seed Crackers

Doing some crunches in the morning… in my mouth.

Do you know what I love eating as a snack? Seed Crackers. It is very underestimated but so delicious, simple to make and at the same time it’s stuffed with vitamins, minerals, fibers and nutrition! Seed crackers are really a great snack and something I want to recommend to you. My favorite is eating these seed crackers with a simple dip like hummus or my pea pesto, or a nice piece of cheese.

THIS RECIPE IS:

  • Vegan

  • Gluten Free

  • Nut Free

  • Egg Free

  • Very crunchy

  • Delicious

Seed Crackers

a baking sheet

INGREDIENTS:

2 dl corn flour

1 dl sunflower seeds

1 dl linseeds

0,5 dl optimal oil

2 dl boiling hot water

1 dl sesame seeds

0,5 dl pumpkin seeds

1,5 tsp sea salt

+ optional seasoning and sea salt

HOW TO MAKE:

Heat oven to 150 degrees.

Mix all dry ingredients in a bowl. Add oil and hot water and mix with a spoon. Let it set for a while.

Place a baking paper on a sheet and spread out the dough thinly. Preferably, dip your fingers in a little bit of water and use your fingers to press out the dough thoroughly.

Cut the dough/ mark carefully with a knife so that you make strips of the seed crackers.

Possibly spread some more sea salt on top and place the baking pan in the middle of the oven for approx 45'. (I had spread sea salt, sunflower seeds and crushed linseeds on mine).

Let them cool and then break the bark/ crackers where the crackers are marked. Store in a jar.
