Grilled Cheese and Jalapeño Sandwich

Life is Like a Sandwich - the More You Add to it, the Better it Gets.

I had a lazy Sunday today, being home in my pajamas all day long, watching Friend’s and eating total comfort food. I love having these kinds of Sundays where I just relax and take care of myself with the things I love the most - food. I made this Grilled Cheese and Jalapeno sandwich, which was a total to die for. This is simple to make and yet so delicious. I love the creamy, gooey and melted cheese inc combination with a bit spiciness from the jalapeños. Yes, try this out.

Grilled Cheese and Jalapeno Sandwich

INGREDIENTS:

2 slices of optional white fluffy bread

approx 1 tbsp of creme cheese

some optional slices of yellow cheese, like gouda or “hushållsost”

Jalapeño

1-2 tsp butter

HOW TO MAKE:

  • Spread out a layer of creme cheese on one of the slices.

  • Cover with some yellow cheese slices and optional amount of jalapeño slices. Cover with just a few more slices of cheese so that the bread you cover with can stick the breads together.

  • Butter the outer faces of the toast with a little bit of butter to give it a nice golden brown color.

  • Place the toast in a sandwich maker OR place it in a skillet over medium low heat. Grill each side until lightly browned. Cheese should be melted and gooey.
