Mermaid Green and Dessert Beige Smoothie Parfaits

A drink of color, fun and happiness is coming your way!

There are endless of variations with smoothies. I have personally probably made hundreds - or thousands - different kinds of smoothies in my life, but today I’m going to give you something new. I couldn't decide whether or not I wanted to make a blue-green smoothie or one in yellow-kinda-colors, so I went for both! Here y’all, are my “Mermaid Blue” and “Dessert Beige” smoothies stuffed with vitamins and minerals! Let me tell you more about these.

Superfood powders?

We are using two different kinds of superfood powders in these smoothies. One of them is the green spirulina and the other one is the turmeric. There are loads of health benefits with both of these super food powders, and therefore it’s so good too boost your body with these. Have them included in your morning smoothies and you are ready to go!

Mermaid Green and Dessert Beige Smoothie Parfaits


INGREDIENTS FOR BEIGE SMOOTHIE

2 big frozen ripped bananas

1 dl frozen mango

1/2 dl optional oats

1 tbsp vegan protein with vanilla flavour

1 tsp maca powder

A pinch of turmeric

1 dl optional plant based milk

Approx. 2 tbsp raspberries

INGREDIENTS FOR GREEN SMOOTHIE

2 big frozen ripped bananas

1/2 dl frozen mango

1 tbsp vegan protein with vanilla flavour

1 tsp green spirulina

1 dl optional plant based milk

Approx 2 tbsp blueberries

HOW TO MAKE IT

Green smoothie

  • Mix together all ingredients (except the blueberries) for the first smoothie. Pour about of a third of the smoothie into a glass and stir down the blueberries to give It a bit more color.

  • Then pour the green smoothie into a glas, then the blue one and at last again the green one.

Beige smoothie

  • Do the same thing with the beige smoothie. Mix together all ingredients for the smoothie except for the raspberries. Pour about of a third of the smoothie into a glass and stir down the raspberries to give It the pink color.

  • Then pour the original beige smoothie into a glas, then the pink one and at last again the beige one.

  • Place some blueberries into a small sauce pan with a little bit of water. Stir down the honey thereafter. This is the blueberry sauce.

  • Garnish your green smoothie with blueberries, raspberries, granola and this blueberry sauce.

  • Garnish the beige smoothie with the blueberry sauce, raspberries, damson, tahini and granola.
