Pizza Bianco in two simple vegetarian ways

Pizza - the only love triangle I want.

A long time has passed since the last time I ate pizza. I ended up making some pizzas today and these are really simple, delicious and also a rather cheap recipe to make. Do you want to know what is the difference? You use tortilla bread as the crust. You don’t need to wait for hours to bake the pizza dough and struggle with various fermentation. You should really taste these tortilla pizzas. They’re so good! It’s perfect for a ladies night, a Netflix and pizza evening, or just something to eat when you are feeling for pizza and want it done quickly

What do we use for the crust?

You can use optional tortilla bread for the crust; ordinary made on wheat, wholemeal, gluten free, made on lentils, beans, corn or you name it. Take what ever you like and which suits your possible diet, allergies or intolerances, and thereafter it’s time to just garnish with various toppings.

What is a pizza Bianco?

This time we have skipped the tomato sauce and made it “pizza Bianco”. Bianco means “white” in Italian and is exactly what it refers to - that the base of the pizza is white. You usually use a white base; either sour cream, ricotta or artichoke cream as the base, and thereafter garnish with various toppings.

I have made a vegetarian version with sour cream, three different kinds of cheese, garlic, lemon zest and chili flakes, and another one with sour cream, mozzarella, yellow cheese, mushrooms, red onion, black olives and fresh basil. This is so good, and pizza Bianco is here to stay.
