Stuffed Dates with Peanut Butter, Chocolate and Sea Salt

If you haven’t tasted filled dates yet, what are you waiting for?!

Is it just me who sometimes get this crazy sweet tooth, but don’t feel like eating a cake, a chocolate, ice cream or similar; I’m more yearning something small, which satisfies my sweet tooth but isn’t so “rich” and satisfying? Yes good, because today I want to show you this small tread which is great. You can have these small, stuffed dates stored in the fridge or freezer for a few days (if you don’t end up eating the whole batch at once) and have them for the times your blood sugar level is low, you want to have a luxurious small evening treat or… maybe even want to serve something that is more healthy for Christmas, Easter or Ramadan! Because this y’all, are my fresh dates stuffed with crunchy peanut butter, dipped in dark chocolate and garnished with sea salt. If you haven’t tested this fantastic combination of sweet + salt yet, you have to. It’s so DELICIOUS.

The variations are endless

I have dipped my dates into vegan dark chocolate, but the dates work just fine without the chocolate too. In general I have to say that there are endless of variations when making stuffed dates. The ones I’m posting today is probably one of my favorite ones, but you can also fill the dates with tahini or other nut butter, almond icing or similar, and garnish with optional melted chocolate, chopped nuts, coconut or other ingredients. Be creative!
