Vegan American Pancakes

Sunday and Pancakes. That is all.

Now we are talking - weekend breakfast deluxe! These pancake are so fluffy, having a great texture and flavor which takes all your pancake expectations to the highest level! They’re so simple and delicious to make! They’re also completely vegan.

What garnishing suits with these pancakes?

Pretty much anything you like! But I have served my pancakes with coconut yoghurt, blueberries, raspberries, agave syrup, pumpkin seeds and just a little bit of fresh spearmint. This suited very well, but please share your own personal favorite garnishing in the comment session.

Vegan American Pancakes

INGREDIENTS:

90 g plain flour, could be self rising too

1 tbsp corn starch

1,5 tsp baking powder

1,5 tbsp agave syrup or maple syrup

a pinch of real vanilla

120 ml (1,2 dl) vegan milk

+ optional cooking fry


HOW TO MAKE:

  • Combine all the dry ingredients in a bowl. Add remaining wet ingredients and mix thoroughly until a lump free batter is made.

  • Heat up a frying pan with cooking fat and fry your pancakes. As soon as bubbles have been created on top. you can flip the pancakes carefully and fry them for approx 20 s on the other side.

  • Serve with optional garnishing!
