Vegan Snickers Bites

Eat a snickers!

I think it’s time to add little bit of snickers. Snickers is, like you probably know, a combination of sweet, a little bit of salt, soft, chewy, crunchy and loads of other yumminess. And today I want to show you my own and very simple version. This is a version that is healthy, doens’t consist of any refined sugar, gluten, lactose, and at the same time it is completely vegan and can be made raw food.

Vegan Snickers Bites

INGREDIENTS

1 tbsp coconut oil
40 g honey or agave syrup
60 g peanut butter 
1,5 organic banana

150-200 gram dark chocolate

HOW TO MAKE IT

  • Melt the coconut oil together with honey/syrup in a small sauce pan on medium heat. Stir.

  • Take if off from the heat and add your peanut butter. Stir around thoroughly so a thick peanut butter sauce is created. 

  • Slice your bananas thin. Place a baking paper in a small freeze resistant pan (approx 10x5 cm) and place the banana slices so they cover the bottom. Keep the remaining bananas for the next level. Spread your peanut butter sauce over the bananas and place the remaining banana slices on top.

  • Place the "cake" in the freezer for at least 1 hour so it sets. 

  • Melt your chocolate over water bath. Spread out the chocolate over the whole cake, or cut your cake into bites and dip the bites in the chocolate. Let them set on a baking paper.

  • Enjoy! Or keep them in the freezer until serving.
