The other day I created a sugar free and vegan caramel sauce. The caramel is just amazing and you can garnish ice cream with it, desserts, fruit salads or… toasts! You can find the recipe of this caramel sauce here.

Coconut Fried Toasts with Vegan Cream Cheese, Caramel Sauce and Lemon
INGREDIENTS:
2 slices of toast bread
3-4 tbsp vegan cream cheese
A little bit of homemade caramel sauce or agave syrup
A few drops of lemon juice or a little bit of lemon zest
Roasted Coconut Flakes
HOW TO MAKE:
Melt a little bit of coconut oil or butter in a frying pan. Fry your toast bread in the pan until golden brown on both sides.
Top the bread with vegan cream cheese, homemade sugar free caramel sauce or agave syrup, and add just some few drops of lemon juice or grate some lemon zest on top.
If you want to, you can also garnish with some roasted coconut flakes.
