Healthy Bounty Bars

Bounty Bars 5.JPG

When feeling sad, bring a little bit of Bounty into your life.

Coconut + chocolate is like a match made in heaven. For those of you who don’t know, bounty is a coconut mix which is covered in chocolate. You can buy a bounty in pretty much every single super market but… the ones you buy are obviously filled with sugar. That is the reason why I today want to give you a bounty bar that is sugar free, vegan and based on only organic ingredients!

Healthy Bounty Bars

a small batch

INGREDIENTS:

2/3 dl coconut milk, the fat part

2 dl grated coconut

40 g coconut oil

5 tsp agave syrup

a small pinch of salt

a pinch of real vanilla

+ approx 100 g dark chocolate

HOW TO MAKE:

  • Combine all ingredients throughly in a bowl until creamy and mixed.

  • Place plastic foil in a rather small rectangular pan and press out the mixture. Place in the freezer until solid.

  • Melt the chocolate in a bowl over hot simmering water. Cut pieces, big as pralines, of the coconut mixture and dip these in the melted chocolate.

  • Let them set on a baking sheet, preferably in the fridge. Dig in!
