Sourdough Toast with Pea Pesto, Avocado and Fresh Basil
Green is the new black
Want to know how you make one of the most delicious but yet simple spreads? This spread, my green pea pesto, is so easy to make and yet delicious. I’m a big hummus lover, but this one is definitely far from being as good. The pea pesto can be served with pasta, chicken, in a sandwich or as a dip. It's delicious no matter!
Today I want so show you my green pea pesto, on organic sourdough bread with avocado and fresh basil. You can eat it as a lighter lunch or side meal without problem!

Sourdough Toast with Pea Pesto, Avocado and Fresh Basil
INGREDIENTS FOR PEA PESTO
2 dl frozen green peas
1 pressed garlic clove
approx 1 dl olive oil
Fresh basil
Salt & a little bit of pepper
+ Sourdough bread of your choice
HOW TO MAKE IT
Mix all ingrediens until creamy. Add more olive oil until it gets the consistency you like. Personally I like it when my pesto is a bit thicker.
Serve for instance in a sandwich. This one in the photo is made out of organic sourdough bread, garnished with the green pea pesto, fresh basil, avocado, sesame seeds, pumpkin seeds & sea salt.
