Where To Eat: Brunch N Cake, Barcelona
A couple of weeks ago I asked you about what brunch place I just couldn’t miss when visiting Barcelona, and so many of you recommended Brunch N Cake. Thank you!! I am so happy you helped me out, because this brunch was awesome!
You’ll find Brunch n Cake in central Barcelona on C/Enric Granados. It’s a relatively small place with a down to earth pastel colour interior with big romantic windows lighting the place up and making it feel spacious. There’s also a great outdoor seating area.
Aside from the fact that the food at Brunch n Cake is the definition of Instagram worthy material, the food is also am-azing! It took us quite some time to decide what we wanted to order. My friend chose their bagel with poached egg, smoked salmon, avocado and roasted beet hummus. I chose their ricotta pancakes with fresh fruit. We absolutely loved it! Cafées like this are exactly the type of places I wish Gothenburg had more of. Innovative and fresh menu, colourful and fun food, big portions and great value for money, and of course impeccable service and great place. The only thing I didn’t like was their vegan cappuccino based on oat milk. it didn’t taste any good - so not recommended.
Brunch n Cake is definitely the place to go if you’re in Barcelona and a brunch lover (and who isn’t?). Regardless of what time it is you can order some great alternatives on their menu. Do however try to go quite early during the day, because this popular place tend to have long queues.
