As you know, I am a massive breakfast person. So for me to find a great breakfast place in Stockholm was a fun little project prior to my trip there to run the 10K run “Tjejmilen”. The day after the run I met up with a friend and took a morning walk to get to our destination to get some Sunday breakfast. Let me tell you more about Café Pascal in Stockholm!

Café Pascal is one of many cafees in Stockholm that offers breakfast. Located on Norrtullsgatan 4 at Odenplan, it’s a cosy yet very airy feeling and bright café with an industrial touch of brick walls meeting marble tables. You either sit inside or outside. We wanted to sit outside since the weather was fantastic, but it was impossible to get a table outside. It’s a very popular place and the line to order grew longer and longer while we were having our breakfast. As I said, a very popular place!

So speaking of their breakfast! They had all kinds of different open sandwich alternatives made of white flour, sourdough or wholemeal. They also had amazing looking traditional Swedish sweet buns (such as cinnamon buns!), croissants, juice and smoothies. Last but not least they also offered omelettes, chia pudding and yoghurt bowls with different kinds of toppings. And if you’re a coffee lover you sure want to try their delicious coffee here! They are known for it!

Me and my friend ordered two of their Turkish yoghurt bowls with homemade nut granola and apple compote, that we both loved! We also ordered one sandwich each. Mine was typical Swedish with boiled eggs and Swedish caviar, and my friend’s were with cheese and ham. The prices was what you can expect from a café in central Stockholm. Stockholm is Stockholm - you can´t get away from the fact that it will be a little bit pricier. However, I truly think that you get a high quality and delicious breakfast here.

If you’ll ever go to Stockholm make sure to look in to this little cosy gem. They offer a traditional Swedish breakfast menu with high-quality coffee (you can also take the coffee - and your breakfast - with you).
